Home practice associated with well-being more than class time

Iyengar yoga students who practiced regularly at home reported improved well-being, lower body mass index, increased fruit and vegetable consumption and better sleep. Home practice appeared to have greater effects than class attendance or years of practice.  

Internet surveys were sent to randomly selected individuals at 15 Iyengar yoga studios. The analysis used 1,045 responses.
