Yoga for the Knees
The knee joints manage the body weight while standing, walking, running and balancing. Join us in learning how to strengthen, stabilize and mobilize the knees. We'll use yoga poses to understand how to move the knees in a safe and effective way. When they are steady, the body has much more freedom to work to its fullest capacity in all physical activities.
Keri Lee is a certified Iyengar yoga teacher. For 15 years before teaching yoga, she taught the movement principles of the Yoshida Technique as well as various kinds of dance and fitness classes. Keri has been studying Iyengar yoga since 1999. She has been involved with UCLA research studies on yoga for anxiety, depression, IBS and fatigue in breast cancer survivors.
