In Light on Life Mr. Iyengar emphasizes the antidote to what he calls the bane of modern life -stress, strain and speed. Yoga practice contributes to emotional stability and health in many ways.
Workshop participants will practice asanas that help to achieve and maintain positive and tranquil states of mind. All students are welcome.
Monica Rose believes that yoga practice is an integral part of maintaining lifelong personal happiness, health and well-being. Her perspective is that through consistent yogic practice, we can deepen our connection to ourselves and our humanity, viewing challenge as an opportunity for growth. She is an Intermediate Junior Level I Certified Iyengar Yoga Teacher and has studied directly with the Iyengar family.
