These workshops are open to all students who have practiced Iyengar Yoga for six months or more.
These workshops are for students of yoga and yoga teachers who are interested in deepening their knowledge of the human body. Laura’s workshops involve using clay to build body parts on skeletons as well as working on the mat with yoga postures to feel the muscles and organic body that they have built with clay. This approach allows participants to understand the body in its three dimensions. Students learn how the bones, muscles, nerves and joints coordinate with each other and gain an understanding of what happens beneath the surface. Structural anatomy will be discussed as it relates to asana.
The next session will focus on the vital organs of the body.
A total of six sessions are being offered over three years.
