Marla Apt is on the faculty of the Iyengar Yoga Association of Southern California teacher-training program. Certified at the Intermediate Senior 1 level, Marla created the first yoga therapy curriculum for UCLA’s medical school. She contributes to Yoga Journal.

Gloria Goldberg
Gloria Goldberg

Gloria Goldberg has taught Iyengar Yoga since 1980 and is certified at the level of Advanced Junior 1. She founded the Iyengar Yoga Association of Southern California teacher-training program  in 1992 and is its director and co-curriculum coordinator.

Diane Gysbers
Diane Gysbers

Diane Gysbers has been teaching Iyengar Yoga since 1991. Certified at the Intermediate Junior 2 level, Diane runs the prenatal yoga program at the Iyengar Yoga Institute of Los Angeles and is on the faculty of the Iyengar Yoga Association of Southern California teacher-training program.

Garth McLean
Garth McLean

Garth McLean teaches in Los Angeles and offers workshops on yoga and multiple sclerosis worldwide. Certified at Intermediate Senior 1 level, Garth studies annually with B.K.S. Iyengar and family in Pune, India, where he has assisted in medical classes.

Stephanie Quirk
Stephanie Quirk

Stephanie Quirk has been living in India and studying at the Iyengar institute  in Pune, India, for more than 20 years. She assists the Iyengars in general classes, medical classes, teacher-training programs at the Pune institute and in conferences worldwide.

Eric Small
Eric Small

Eric Small has been teaching yoga since the 1960s. Certified at the Intermediate Senior 2 level, he is a leader in teaching students  with multiple sclerosis and other neurological conditions. His teachings are part of the MS Society program offered at UCLA.
